Senior Director of the Zimmer Institute - Americas - to be Guest Speaker at Magnifi Group's 2012 Annual Learn-Wise Users' Conference

 

San Diego, CA - December 12, 2011 - Magnifi Group, Inc., a developer of online learning technology (Learn-Wise) for the Medical Device Industry, is pleased to announce that Mark T. Serafino, MS, Senior Director, Zimmer Institute - Americas, will be a guest speaker at the Learn-Wise Annual Users' Conference to be held on March 15, 2012 in San Diego.

Mr. Serafino is currently responsible for all of Zimmer's surgeon and healthcare professional training for Canada, Latin America, and the U.S., as well as for establishing educational systems and content globally.

Mr. Serafino, who holds a Master's of Science in Physical Therapy and Clinical Science from Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY, said that when it comes to healthcare training there is no room for error. "Surgeons and medical device reps have to be fully invested when it comes to learning about new surgical techniques," said Serafino. "From in-class training and access to first-class facilities, to online training; everything has to be meticulously implemented," Serafino said.
