What parameters can the Administrator set when designing the test?
The following parameters are available:
- Test Available – will the test appear pre-, post- and/or parallel to the content
- Required Passing Percentage – this can be from zero to 100
- Max No. of Attempts – how many attempts can a Trainee take to complete the test
- No. of Questions in Pool – what is the total number of questions from where the Test questions will be pulled
- No. of Questions in Test – how many questions are there in the test (these will be pulled from the Question Pool)
- Test Type – will the test questions appear in a random or sequential order
- Questions Visibility – do the questions appear one at a time or five at a time
- Go to Previous Question and Modify Answer – can the Trainee go back and change an answer
- Track Time – if selected the amount of time the Trainee takes to complete the test will be recorded.
- Show Result – do you want the Trainee to get their score on completion or not?
- Return To Content Section – this will determine if the trainee can return to the test content while answering the questions.
What types of questions are available to the System Adminstrator?
Multiple Choice: Different options are provided; the administrator will determine how many options are available for each question. Only one answer is correct.
Multiple Selection: Different options will be provided, the administrator will determine how many options are available for each questions. One set of options will indicate a correct answer.
True and False: One of these options, true or false, will be provided as the correct answer.
Mix and Match: Two separate lists are provided; the trainee is required to match the items from one list with the items in the other.
Fill in the Blank: A word or phrase will need to be provided as the correct answer. The system allows the administrator to provide different variations as acceptable answers.
