System Access
Each user (Healthcare Professional) is registered in the system by the Company (Communications Portal System Administrator). Users can be assigned to User Groups according to their specific requirements. The user is then sent an email with a unique log-in (user name and password) giving them access to only those modules and materials designated by the Company System Administrator. The User is requested to complete the registration process. The User must enter their unique user name and password each time they logs on to the Communications Portal.
Communications Portal System Administrator Functions
The Communications Portal is designed to allow maximum flexibility to the System Administrator. The Administrator will have the ability to control the following:
- Users Profiles – registration, user names, contact information, user groups
- User Groups – creation of User Groups for different user types including different access levels to system modules.
- Content – uploading of content
- Messaging – ability to send out messages to user groups (e.g. new review materials, event scheduling)
The Administration section has multiple layers of security controlling access to user set up, reporting and messaging capabilities.
Security
MAG10 Communications Portal is hosted by Magnifi in a secure server environment that uses the latest software updates, firewalls and intrusion detection systems to prevent interference or access from outside intruders. The system utilizes some of the most advanced technology for Internet security available today. Both server authentication and data encryption are used to protect your information to the greatest extent possible according to now-current industry standards and to take all steps reasonably feasible to ensure that it is available only to registered Users. Sessions are limited to a short period of inactivity, and unusual activity is monitored through logs.
